I spent my Amazon gift cards on Arduino stuff.
I've really wanted to experiment with making stuff and so far I'm mostly playing with the examples and adding an LCD for display. The parallel LCD requires too many pins so I'm looking at the serial adapters on Sparkfun.com then it only requires two wires, but since the Arduino Uno only has one serial port it could be a problem for a couple of projects I have in mind, I guess the Mega is what I'd need then as it has 4 serial ports and like 51 pins.

I have a few real projects I could see building.
